High-Gain Seven-Level Switched-Capacitor Two-Stage Multi-Level Inverter

Due to the low voltage of PV module and enable AC technology, where every has its own DC-AC converter, this paper introduces a new high step-up seven-level two-stage multilevel inverter for grid-connected Photovoltaic (PV) system. The introduced schematic consists two stages. first stage is switched capacitor boost converter second seven-switches inverter. designed extract maximum power input voltage. proposed topology generates seven levels with only switches. Thus, number switches reduced. eight valid switching states. In each state three are ON at same time. some distinct features such as reduced conduction; total harmonic distortion (THD) current 23% in case pure resistive no filtration output less than 3% using small filter integration into grid. boosting ability wide gain easily achievable. system tested different gains highest simulated efficiency was around 96%. developed MATLAB/SIMULINK real time DSPACE1202. Both simulation real-time results consistent theoretical analysis.
